"My family and I really enjoyed the family suite for 3 nights. It was quiet and private, and spacious enough for us 5. The beds were very comfortable. We had a mountain view, which was just fantastic. We enjoyed the music at night, and could listen to it via our balcony. It was very pleasant and never bothered us. It ended before we retired each night. We enjoyed the daily breakfasts and 2 dinners at the hotel. The staff was so pleasant. The food and wine was very good. It exceeded our expectations. We got to know them, and they worked very hard to please us. Same with the office team. I would stay here again. The hotel has an "old world" ambience about it, which we enjoyed. It was a very relaxing stay. PS: it was extremely easy to reach on foot from the train station. We did not have the van shuttle us."

"You can’t beat the proximity to the train station and the Coop market. The room was beautiful - spacious with a great balcony and view. We were able to take out pizza from the restaurant and eat on our balcony. Neil at the front desk was so kind and helpful. He was the face of the hotel and he is fantastic at it! "

"Very modern and clean. Beds were comfortable and amenities were awesome. Had trouble finding parking especially since we reached at 12:30 in the night. As most European hotels there was no AC and it was very hot in the room even though we had fans. I don’t think the self check-in was very efficient when it came to getting answers to some imminent questions like parking, AC, possibility of a late checkout."

"Hotel Murren was without a doubt the best hotel experience my wife and I have ever encountered. We booked the Senior Lux Suite with the hot tub and couldn't be happier. The manager came and picked us and our luggage up at the train station prior to realizing how close it was to the BLM Station. The room has 5 balconies, a kitchen and a terrific design. Bar and wait staff were kind and efficient and never heard another guest. If you're in Murren and want perfection please stay at this hotel and book this room. 10/10 stars. "

"We had a beautiful time at Hotel Edelweiss in Wengen. Linda and Tomas were so welcoming and helpful. And the rest of the staff were lovely as well. Our room provided an incredible view and peaceful sleep. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty, fueling us for the day. We were sad to leave but hope to return one day."

"We stayed here for 2 nights in the height of August - 3 of us in a family room (2 single beds downstairs and 2 on an upstairs mezzanine). There is no air conditioning but there were 2 fans, which were adequate. The room is very clean and very convenient for walking to the bus stop (which is free with a card from the accommodation) and only 10 mins walk from the railway station. Not a cheap place to stay - but nowhere is in Interlaken. Breakfast costs 25 Swiss Francs per person (which we did not try). Beds were very comfortable. Internet access was good (and free). Staff were very helpful, lending us an electric adaptor as our normal European one didnt match Swiss sockets. It would be good if a kettle was provided in the room. Overall we'd recommend this place to stay. "

"The best way to describe this hotel is: straight out of a fairytale! The view from literally anywhere you look are absolutely spectacular. The hotel is 150 years old but they have done an outstanding job at conserving it authentic and classic look but with some modern and classic touches for comfort. You feel like you are transported in a time-capsule machine to a classic, glamorous and beautiful place. Certainly an experience that I would highly recommend "

"This hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Engleberg so worth the detour we took to go there. The staff was excellent with the most note worthy service being provided by Freya and Lazio. We stayed in the Epoque room which was one of the loveliest beautifully appointed rooms with rounded windows but modern Scandinavian style furniture and a gorgeous up to date bathroom! And the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this property. "

"Such a cute little property. We stayed for one night as a travelling group of three females. We stayed in a room made up for three and it was so cosy and well presented. Staff were really friendly and super happy to have us there. Would recommend particularly for the cable car to Oeschien which is literally across the road! Excellent, thankyou! "

"Wonderful location, beautiful views on the lake, mountains and castle. I loved being able to walk down the lake each morning for a swim, using the hotel's access and facilities (dressing room, toilet) right on the lakeside. "

"The family room was perfect for our family of 4. Kids loved the bunk beds with privacy curtains, the arcade in the room was lots of fun and the views of the lauterbrunnen valley and mountains were spectacular. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient to the train station. The pool area was fantastic and we just wished it was open later than 8pm"
